What a Long Tiresome Day!!!

Good Heavens we just got finished installing 4 over head lights!! We started on them right after I posted this post Spring has Sprung  So around 13 hrs of work. Now I have a couple floor lamps to throw into the give away pile. I still have a pile of clothes & kids shoes to sort through (I'm still trying to figure out well all this stuff came from)

Next on our to-do list is fixing the shelves in the hall closet ( That's are small to-do list You don't even want to hear about out big one LOL)

Oh well just a fast run down of our big one is new flooring including our sub flooring in the hall both bathrooms & kitchen, New flooring through out the house I want rid of the carpet & hard wood flooring (due to allergies) our roof needs a little TLC & our lawn well it needs a miracle!!   Then there is the pool good grief I have a love hate thing going on there big time!!!

I have to completely drain it because last yr we had to many things to do and parts to replace on the pump that I threw a HUGE Cursing fit & threw my hands up  and said the hell with it. After getting the pump fixed we have gotten it drained it needs some elbow grease, water & a load of chemicals & boom I can have a little fun in the sun this year (I hope)  Because if one more things fails on that sucker I'll earn a bit of drinking money after I cash it in for scrap metal. LOL

Well I'm going to stop blabbering & go get me a midnight snack catch a movie and maybe get some shut eye.

Tomorrow brings another day were I will be hip deep in house work (Try saying that 3 times real fast!)

ooooh! i LOVe doing home renovations, although being a virgo, i hate the messes they cause.

where we used to rent, our landloard would pretty let us do anything to the apartment, because we were increasing the value of the home. we put in new flooring, painted, changed lighting fixtures, and my favorite, we tiled in the kitchen. i love tiling.

we apparently did such a good job at increasing the value of the home, our landlords sold the house, and we had to move.

where we are now? we can't even paint a wall a color that isn't neutral. somehow i got away with a green bathroom. if we paint a room a color, we have to put down a 250 dollar deposit per room so they rental agency can pay someone to come in and paint it back to a neutral.

i painted all the rooms here very very light colors, but it's just not the same somehow.

now, where in WV are you? and when is that pool going to be ready?
