I almost lost my cookies last night!!! LOL
Well I stepped outside for a little bit last night while my husband was playing with my youngest & my oldest was sleeping...
I had put Little Miss's hair in a pigtail and told her if you take your hair down you need to give me the scrunchy (small ponytail holder) so we don't lose it...
Well while I was out side she managed to take her hair down & she set the ponytail holder up. I came in and grabbed my coffee off the counter & I get a mouthful. (Mind you I have major sensory problems that can be very overwhelming) I felt a hair half in my mouth I still had the cup up to my mouth I pull the cup away & there is this little yellow ponytail hold dangling from my lip held by a very long hair. (YUCK!!!!) I take the hair from my mouth while holding a mouthful of coffee in & gagging to beat all. I spit the coffee in the sink & continue to gag for a few minutes, at this time a picture of the God Warrior pop's my my head, if you have ever seen her on the reality shows when she thinks she smells something bad. LOL she too goes on a gagging frenzy!... I was cracking up about it all, it was so funny. I walk into the living room and ask my daughter if she had set her hair holder in my coffee She say yes but it was an accident!! All wide eyed & smiling (she does that if she is unsure or nervous) I busted up laughing and said That's OK. She said I told daddy I did.... ( Still wide eyed & Smiling)

This would be sorta like the OOP's smile
See she can speak very well but has trouble explaining something, or getting the words in an order so they can be understood. Like if she wants a drink of water she'll say "Can you water me some fresh water in my blue water bottle so I can maybe drink it?"
If she has done something she should not have or broke something she will just say sorry over & over and not explain what she is sorry about. ( She doesn't get in-trouble for boo'boo's as we call them) But is she does something to upset herself or that she think someone will disapprove of It is very very hard to under stand her.
My Husband said she kept saying sorry & then would say coffee cup hair piece...
But he had no clue what she was saying? (He tells me this after I gag my but off of course) LOL
She also likes to play with words and makes up new words so it is hard to understand when she is saying something for a reason or for the sake of saying it, & getting a laugh out of folks.
You almost have to become a code talker to get what is going on around here. LOL
