I’m going to say it simple and sweet…
Simply Bliss has a nice, quiet, relaxing and elegant atmosphere
OK My youngest has high functioning autism and the past couple times we tried to get her hair cut (at other places) it was a nightmare, The places we tried was a bit too busy and very noisy. They had a rush, rush atmosphere and well they charged an arm & a leg…
Simply Bliss Salon & Spa is a great place… they offer coffee, tea, water, cookies, I’m not sure what all they offer… but you get more than a 5 Star treatment there! That’s for sure, You can drop by as a walk in or make an appointment. We did a walk in just a few days before school is to start, on a Saturday I was afraid we wouldn’t get seen but we did & we didn’t wait long at all. Even if the wait would have been long it still would have been worth it.
I’ll post some before pic’s I did pose the girls for before and after shots so I’ll just post a couple pictures of their hair that I took not long ago.
Before
My Youngest daughters hair came down to her fanny, My oldest daughters bangs had grown out a good bit from this picture about mid way down her face. P.S. Look Over the GOOFINESS lol…
They love to make faces for the camera.
After
Now more on the service we received… The lady that did my youngest daughter’s hair didn’t bat an eye when I said she has autism. Before she did anything to my daughter’s hair she let her know beforehand. My daughter sat on my lap rather than a booster seat and we skipped the cape for her (the cape tends to make her feel strangled and scares her pretty bad) I used it on my legs to keep her hair off me
It was a nice experience for my youngest daughter. She really enjoyed the place, and was shocked to see they had cookies LOL She said “They are the best cookies in the whole wide world!”
Now my oldest let me tell you… she can be one picky gal!! 9 times out of 10 she can and will find something she doesn’t like about a salon, so when we left I asked her “Well how was that place” She liked it & she really liked who did her hair!! I smiled at her like thank goodness no gripes LOL Then she said No I really liked it there
So There you have 3 reviews, no Wait 4 because my Hubby even liked the place… shhh!
and he even liked the prices.

We are looking for a school in King George VA that has a good Autistic program for our 11 year old son. Does anyone have any ideas? We are relocating to the area soon and haven’t found too much information and the School District isn’t saying too much either. Thank you.
I just sent you an email
About the questions you had asked.
Hello this is Angela’s husband. One other thing I wanted to mention that my wife didn’t know until I pointed it out to her was how the receipts are done. Any other place I have gone to that you would leave a tip, they hand you 2 receipts and you write the tip on one and sign it and keep the other. Then they put the tip in after. The problem with that is you have to trust them to put in the right tip and not rip you off. (Not that I have been ripped off in the past. It just doesn’t seem like good business practice to leave that doubt in the customer’s mind.) At Simply Bliss however, she handed me one receipt. I wrote in the tip and signed it and handed it back. She then put it in including the tip and handed me back a receipt with the tip and total PRINTED on the receipt. This to me is good business practice and removes any trust issues.
